What to Avoid: washing and touching the treated area as well as applying makeup for 24 hours. Also avoid itching, picking, or scratching the area as well as direct sunlight. Avoid peels and exfoliation for a minimum of 21 days.

Side Effects Include: discomfort, irritation, redness, and scabbing. You may apply an anti-bacterial ointment or powder to the area.

What to Do: use mild, non-stimulated cleansing products and pat skin dry instead of rubbing.
