Peels

Shed the old. Reveal the glow.

Chemical peels are powerful skin-resurfacing treatments that exfoliate dead skin cells, improve texture, and stimulate cell turnover for brighter, clearer, more even-toned skin. At Giddie Skin, we offer both traditional chemical peels and BioRePeel, a no-peel, no-downtime alternative ideal for all skin types.

  • Chemical peels help improve the appearance and health of your skin by targeting surface buildup and deeper damage. Whether you’re dealing with dullness, breakouts, hyperpigmentation, or aging concerns, peels refine and refresh the skin from within.

    Key benefits:

    • Brightens skin tone and improves clarity

    • Smooths texture and reduces fine lines

    • Fades dark spots and hyperpigmentation

    • Clears congestion and acne

    • Stimulates collagen and cell renewal

  • Your provider will assess your skin and recommend the right peel based on your goals and skin sensitivity. We offer two main types of peels:

    The Perfect Peel

A clinical-grade exfoliating treatment using acids like salicylic, lactic, or TCA to remove the outer layer of damaged skin. Peeling and flaking may occur in the days following treatment as new skin is revealed.

Best for: Pigmentation, sun damage, texture, and acne.
Downtime: Moderate. Expect light to moderate peeling for 3–7 days depending on the depth of the peel.

    BioRePeel

A revolutionary biostimulating peel with little to no visible peeling. BioRePeel uses a combination of TCA and amino acids to exfoliate below the surface while stimulating collagen and hydration from within—without the typical flaking or downtime.

Best for: All skin types, including sensitive or breakout-prone skin. Great for texture, acne, pigmentation, and early signs of aging.
Downtime: Minimal to none. You may have slight redness post-treatment.

  • Chemical peels use a blend of exfoliating acids to dissolve dead skin cells and promote skin renewal. This controlled exfoliation process reveals smoother, brighter skin and helps stimulate collagen over time.

    • The Perfect Peel: Penetrate to different skin depths depending on the formula, treating more visible damage like sun spots, wrinkles, and acne scarring.

    • BioRePeel: Works below the surface to stimulate fibroblast activity (collagen production) while improving texture and clarity—without visible peeling or downtime.

Both treatments improve skin function and appearance over time, especially when done in a series.

FAQs

  • If you’re looking for a gentler approach with little to no downtime, BioRePeel is a great option—especially for sensitive, acne-prone, or reactive skin. If you're targeting deeper pigmentation, sun damage, or texture, the Perfect Peel may be recommended. Your provider will help choose what’s best for your skin goals during your consultation.

  • Many clients notice brighter, smoother skin within a few days of treatment. For concerns like acne, pigmentation, or fine lines, results become more visible over time—especially with a series of treatments. Consistency is key for long-term improvement.

  • For best results, we recommend a series of 4 BioRePeel treatments, spaced 1 week apart, to build collagen and improve tone, texture, and clarity. For the Perfect Peel, a series of 3 peels spaced 1 month apart is typically ideal for targeting deeper concerns like sun damage, pigment, or scarring. Maintenance sessions can be done quarterly or seasonally.
